Sea of Love

Перевести на русский

The story of Bita Kavehzadeh is one of triumph over adversity and the power of the human spirit. Bita was born in Tehran, Iran Sept 25th 1967. She was born with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy which did not affect her mental abilities but unfortunately left her with about one tenth of the muscular strength of someone not afflicted with the condition. The family soon moved to the United States for better medical care and hopes for a better life for Bita.

Although she was in a wheelchair at her childhood, Bita was a very happy child and never let her disability hold her back. This was a dominating theme that would continue throughout her life.

Bita attended John F. Kennedy University in Berkeley and received a Masters in Fine arts. After that Bita pursued her interests in Art and Writing and achieved a number of notable accomplishments as the artist and journalist. She worked for major newspapers in San Francisco Bay Area. She participated in art exhibitions showings for her oil paintings including a successful solo showing in a prestigious galley in San Francisco.

All of these achievements are absolutely incredible considering many would simply retreat and succumb to a life of supervised care and easy living if faced with similar difficulties. Bita never let the fact that she had diminished physical strength stop her from doing anything that she wanted to do. She always found a way to achieve her goals and with that we can say for certainty that Bita did not have any Handicap at all but rather was blessed with the gifts of an unstoppable determination and the kindest heart one could have.

Bita’s personal and professional success continues inspiring children and adults to be strong, positive and to fight for the own ideas and principles. Welcome to see artwork participating at Bita Kavehzaden famous art shows “The Sea of Love”. Be strong and focused, work hard. Then success and public respect coming.
